one of the first Grey Nurse of the 2009 season
    Thursday 28th March 2009
Five rescued sea turtles were returned to the wild.
The biggest of them, a large Green Turtle made her own way into the water and quickly swam through the surf.
The four smaller ones, two Hawksbills and two Greens, hitched a ride on the Sundive boat to Julian Rocks where they too were released.
That evening several turtle hatchlings were also released.

Following the 2008 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, British Formula One driver Jenson Button, and friend James Robson came to Byron Bay , where they completed their Open Water training course with Sundive.

They are pictured here at Julian Rocks with Sundive owner and instructor, Jack (left).

On a recent visit to Australia, David Suzuki, the famous environmentalist, went on a snorkeling trip with Sundive. This was the second time he had been out with us.

Dr. Suzuki said he loved the area and Julian Rocks for its diversity of fish life.

Dr Suzuki is pictured here with some of the Sundive team.
